Immeasurable efforts and continuous improvements have been adapted to maintain the quality of administrative and healthcare services, the safety of patients, hospital staff, visitors, and the safety of the establishment and its facilities and in consideration, of these efforts, the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) decided to renew King Fahd Hospital of the University's accreditation for three upcoming years and this attests to the hospital's adherence to the safety and quality standards.
The President of the University and KFHU's General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah Al Rubaish congratulated the hospital's higher administration and all its staff members, healthcare providers, administrative and supporting employees for this glorious achievement which indicates the compliance of the hospital to the standards of quality and safety requirements that are equivalent to the hospital's values and achieves its vision and mission. Furthermore, KFHU has received various international accreditations that further confirms the hospital's commitment to the standards of quality within all administrative and health care procedures such accreditations are the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCI) and the College of American Pathologists CAP Accreditation.
KFHU General Director Dr. Mohamed Al Shehrani mentioned that the CBAHI Accreditation is considered an important national accreditation that attests to the competence of the hospital and the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions is the only official authority in the Kingdom that is appointed to evaluate public and private healthcare facilities and their accreditation by concentrating on three main topics: input, activities and procedures and output standards.
Dr. Ahmed Al Kuwaiti the Quality and Safety Director emphasized that these accomplishments are a natural result of the efforts achieved by the hospital's cadre and the aspirations of its leaders especially the President of the University and the General Supervisor of KFHU Dr. Abdullah Al Rubaish.
