On Sunday, January 15, 2023, the Deanship of Academic Development at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University carried out a briefing session about the Excellence Award in University Education Development (TAG). The session was attended by the members of the Deanship Council, the Executive Committee of the Active Learning Project, and faculty members from various colleges. TAJ is an award of distinction to recognize the efforts of the recipients and their excellence in the fields of developing university education according to the award round.
The Dean of Academic Development, Dr. Mohammed Alkathiri, stated that the Deanship was established ten years ago, and since then many success stories have evolved by faculty members, noting that "TAJ" Award aims to empower the academic community to influence and innovate in education. He pointed out that the presentation of this award is based on deep faith and knowledge of the outstanding practices performed by faculty members that deserve recognition, appreciation and sharing.
According to the timetable for Award First Round, the beginning of the period for those interested to submit the portfolio document through the electronic portal "TAJ" and attach the required evidence will be on 12 March 2023. While announcing the winners of the Excellence Award in University Education Development (TAJ) will take place during the annual exhibition of university teaching and learning TLEX23 at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, on 29-30 May 2023.
