35 speakers participated online in the second edition of the successful scientific researcher program organized by the College of Science at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, which comes under the college’s strategic plan, with the attendance of 5291 participants in 32 workshops, with a total of 2065 minutes.
The Dean of the College of Science and Head of the Program, Dr. Amal Al-Otaibi, mentioned that the successful scientific researcher program aimed to achieve the goals of the college in supporting the scientific research and innovation system, by providing high-quality research that contributes to strengthening one of the long-term goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and achieving the global competitiveness index in the field of research and development.
The Vice President of the Program and the Vice Dean for Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr. Zainab Al-Sunaidi, added that scientific research requires competent and capable human resources in all aspects of the research and development sector.
Indicating that the program came in the form of "building an integrated educational journey" based on a hierarchy of knowledge, designed in a way that ensures the researchers are aware of these needs and targets six different categories: undergraduate students at the primary and advanced levels, postgraduate students in the research stages, and faculty members recent and current.
