Mara is an Arab youth initiative launched by students of the University of Dammam under the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development, it aims at creating a platform to develop and spread ideas and experiences in order to increase scientific knowledge and awareness among young people. It is sponsored by the President of the University Dr. Abdullah Al Rubaish in cooperation with Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz ‘Misk’ Foundation and a training partnership with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
Vice President for Studies, Development and Community Service Dr. Abdullah Al Kadi mentioned that “this program has been worked on by a number of students due to the importance of our youths who are the future of the community and due to the importance of experiences and ideas in modeling their thoughts and skills. Marsa is keen on becoming an active platform to exchange experiences and experiments, to instill the values of cooperation and kindness, and to spread the spirit of leadership.
