Course Main Objective

To make students acquainted with the grammatical rules relating to verbal nouns and onomatopoeia, the two “N” of confirmation, noun prohibited from variation, factors of elision and the number and its references.

Course Learning Outcomes

•    1.1 Mention the grammatical rules relating to verbal nouns and onomatopoeia, the two “N” of confirmation, noun prohibited from variation, declension of verbs and the number and its references.

•    2.1 Distinguish the grammatical rules of the studied subjects through analyzing various texts.
•    2.2 Use communication and information technology and learning resources and apply them to the grammatical rules discovered in the concerned texts.

•   3.1 Assume individual, collective and leading responsibility and respect personal relationships upon performing various grammatical assignments. 
•   3.2 Perform the grammatical assignments observing scientific research ethics and academic integrity as well as values of responsible citizen.

Course Content

1- An introduction to the course and its objectives and requirements; verbal nouns
2- The two "N" of confirmation
3- The change occurs at end of the defective verb or the verb connected with pronouns when confirmed; prominent and latent pronouns which separate the verb and "N" of confirmation.
4- Prohibited from variation.
5- Declension of verbs.
6- Elision of the present tense verb
7- The number
8- Reading long numbers observing the numbered, the declension and the distinctive.
