Course Description
This course introduces the objectives of accounting and how businesses keep track of their financial transactions; how they summarize those transactions; and how the summary information is used by individuals and groups both inside and outside of the organization in making decisions. Students will be exposed to the primary financial statements provided by businesses, the information each of these statements contain and how they are used by decision makers.
