Various types of Polymerization reaction mechanisms: Migration polymerization, Ring opening polymerization, Organometallic polymerization, Copolymerization, Reactivity ratios, Methods of polymerization of high polymers and macromolecules, Mechanical properties of polymers: Factors affecting mechanical properties, Plasticization of high polymers, Classifications of plasticizers, Chemical modification of Natural and synthetic polymers, Graft copolymerization, Factors affecting percentages of graft, Spectral characterization of the modified polymers, Polymer Composites, Polymer blend. Thermal properties of polymers: Thermal oxidation, Thermal degradation, Photo-oxidation, Rubber- plastics-fibers, Thermogravimetry (TG), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Differential thermal analysis (DTA), Wetabillity and dyeability of fibers, Morphology of crystalline polymers.
