Course Description
This course enables student to acquire the necessary skills in clinical situations to permit him/ her to understand Computed Tomography (CT) instrumentation and to undertake CT examinations of certain body parts. This course is designed to involve students within the working environments of Computed Tomography scanner. The student will be able to know the CT scanner physics and CT instrumentations. The student will also be able to correctly position patients in the couch for different CT examination of the head, abdomen, thorax and extremities with and without contrast media. Special emphasis is placed on anatomical and pathological appearance of normal and abnormal appearance of organs and tissue.
