Course Description
This course introduces computer vision, including fundamentals of image processing (image acquisition, representation, processing and properties) and matching, Shape representation, stereo, motion estimation and tracking, object recognition and segmentation, image classification, scene understanding, and deep learning with neural networks. The basic methods for applications include finding known models in images, depth recovery from stereo, camera calibration, image stabilization, automated alignment, tracking, boundary object detection and recognition, Approaches to pattern recognition with the help of classification algorithms and statistical techniques.
