Course Main Objective
This course aims to make students acquire skill of selecting and developing acquisitions and identifying methods and general policies of adequate selection. Student will be able to discuss the tools, processes and scope of cooperation in order to develop acquisitions in the traditional and electronic information institutions and will further utilize standards and conditions of accepting any materials coming to library through dedication and exchange and to what extent such materials may achieve regarding integration and support to the current library collections.

- Storage and maintenance of collections.
- Cooperation in field of developing library collections.
- Collections’ development in digital environment.
