Course Description
This topic is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop the fundamental clinical skills of paramedic practice; mainly concentrating on patient’s clinical assessment, patient related data collection and practice conducting primary and secondary surveys. The student will also get trained on a set of procedures that they will need as part of these fundamental clinical skills. Using problem solving approach, the student will also be able to assist and initiate care and management to the patient in a selected set of diseases and special problems. This unit prepares the student to progress towards being a pre-hospital medical care provider.
