Course Description
This course consolidates knowledge and skills related to patient management in the primary emergency health care environment, advanced life support, leadership and mentoring in the context of a practicing paramedic. Research findings and a simulated problem solving process will be used to enable students to apply the principles to paramedic practice, aimed at the maintenance of the individual's harmony with the environment. This topic will end up providing the student with an integration of all the paramedic related skills, knowledge and attitudes to enable them to practice independently.
