Course Description
AutoCAD is the tool that converts architectural ideas and drawings into a digital format. It is the pencil and paper for an architect that helps him to visualize his ideas accurately and quickly and give him the chance to edit it with low/no costs, in short time and with complete proficiency.
After completing the course, the student will be more familiar with computer skills, will be introduced to basic and advanced skills of AutoCAD in 2d & 3d. The student will be given adequate knowledge so that she can draw complete plans, elevations, sections, put dimensions and text with furniture arrangement of any project. She will be also capable of printing her work with appropriate pen assignments. They will also be able to visualize their work in 3d and learn how to draw all kinds of surfaces and solids such as different shaped structures, lightweight canopies / tents and add all architectural details such as doors, windows, openings, and interior design elements. They will use the camera views to create different interior and exterior perspectives.
