Course Description
This is an introductory course with lab for non-biology majors from the College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. The students will learn the basic concepts of biology and human body systems to enable them to understand the biological phenomena in our daily life as well as how the human body functions. In addition, this course also aims to create awareness about the current advance and application of biology in medicine, agriculture, environment and society. Students will be able to understand the challenges in biological research and how computer can help in solving them.
