Course Description
To effectively manage life threatening emergencies in the pre-hospital environment, the paramedic student must first acquire an integrated understanding of normal human anatomy. This topic will provide students with a strong back ground and solid theoretical platform on which they can build their understanding of clinical pathologies encountered in paramedic practice. The human organ systems that need to be covered in detail are integumentary, musculoskeletal, endocrine, nervous, cardiovascular, renal, gastro-intestinal, respiratory and reproductive systems.
