Course Main Objective
This course aims to make students able to be acquainted with the scientific methods and all facts related to information systems including analysis of information flow to monitor the required information through identifying who need it, how to get it and the aim of obtaining it.

- 1.1 Discuss the basic concepts and principles related to analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and documentation of information systems in libraries and information centers.

- An introduction to information system.
- Life cycle of the system + library as a system.
- Systems analysis (definitions, aims, characteristics, library, system analysis).
- System analyst and stages of system analysis.
- Report on analysis result.
- Systems design
- System implementation- transformation- training on using systems
- System evaluation
- System documentation
