Course Description
As an emergency care provider; a paramedic should be familiar with Airway emergencies and how to handle them. In this course the students will acquire knowledge of basic airway anatomy, the principles of ventilation & oxygenation and the laws of gas exchange. The students will receive introductory level teaching about the common airway and breathing emergencies, different methods and approaches of handling them and get trained on the skill set needed for each and every one of these methods. The aim at the end of this course is for the student to be able to create the appropriate and logical problem solving for the emergency at hand.
