First year
preparatory year - scientific track
The first year is a preparatory year (scientific track) in which the student is introduced to the basics of mathematics, English as a second language, and computer science. This is acquired by learning the necessary skills to handle computer programs. Each student, at the end of the year, joins one of the four departments in College of Science.
Second year
In the second year, the student studies eight specialized subjects in different branches, which qualify her to comprehend and master mathematical concepts. Through these subjects, she acquires skills in logic and mathematical proof, in addition to statistical applications, probabilities, and programming principles in computer science.
Third year
In the third year, the student studies eight specialized subjects in different branches to develop her analytical and spatial skills, as well as the fundamentals of algebra. Additionally, the student takes an elective course in this year.
Fourth year
In the fourth year, the student studies five specialized subjects in addition to two elective courses and the graduation project. Upon completion, she is required to enroll in the field training course.
