TabsOverviewThe Master of Science degree in Clinical Nursing focusing on Obstetrics and Gynecologic Nursing is designed to provide a cost-effective, high quality; evidence based nursing care for women and their newborn babies throughout their maternity cycle. Candidates will be prepared to be maternity care professionals to provide health care, education and support to women during pregnancy, labor and delivery and the postpartum period. They will be trained to be sensitive to the individual needs of women, to detect problems throughout the childbearing cycle and to link families with additional medical and social services as needed.
