Overview
The Pediatric Otolaryngology Surgery division at KFHU provides a detailed medical and surgical evaluation, counseling and management for diseases affecting pediatric population.
The division is also one of the few centers in the area that provides advanced pediatric airway procedures as well as surgical treatment of Velopharyngeal Insufficiency. Given the diversity of diseases and the approaches of treatment, physicians are capable of offering evidence-based consultations and treatment options that are tailored to patients.
Patient Care
The Pediatric Otolaryngology division deals with many health issues, most common being:
- congenital airway anomalies
- congenital nasal anomalies
- speech disorders
- swallowing disorders
Pediatric Otolaryngology division has a solid cooperation with audiology, speech and swallowing divisions, which will ensure the best comprehensive multidisciplinary care.
