Introduction
The unit is affiliated with the Office of the Vice President for Development and Community Partnership. It is generally concerned with organizing and enhancing the scope of the university’s strategic partnerships (memorandums of understanding, cooperation agreements) with local and international institutions within the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and framing the complementary relationship between them in the academic, research, and community fields. In addition to its role in the administrative, service and institutional fields, and raising the level of efficiency of its management and its development impact, and is all consistent with the national goals and strategic objectives of the Ministry of Education, the university and all its various sectors wishing to conclude these partnerships, in accordance with the internal governance systems of the university and the new university system, which is consistent with the results and recommendations of the Ministry of Education with regard to studying the current reality of international partnerships in public universities.

Creating an integrative environment that contributes to strengthening sustainable strategic partnerships for the university in accordance with its needs and contributes to achieving national development.
Objectives
- Contributing to achieving the university’s strategic goals by building cooperative relationships that enhance its presence with specialized and similar sectors locally and internationally.
- Governance of all policies and procedures that help the university’s various sectors develop the level of their partnerships to raise the level of investment in the field of qualitative partnerships, with a developmental impact on the university.
- Disseminating best practices and successful experiences of memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements that are consistent with national goals and priorities, and introducing how to benefit from them in a cooperative knowledge framework.
- Working to achieve quality requirements and local and international accreditation standards related to the university’s local and international partnerships and their outcomes.
- Creating a database of all existing and previous local and international university partnerships to benefit from them in creating new partnership opportunities.
