First year (Preparatory Year - Scientific Track)
The first year is a preparatory year in which the student is introduced to the basics of mathematics, to English as a foreign language, and to computer science. This is acquired by learning the necessary skills to handle computer programs. At the end of the year, a student joins one of the four departments in College of Science.
Second Year
In the second year, the student studies four specialized courses that qualify her to master the mathematical concepts, where she acquires the skills of logic and mathematical proof in addition to the programming rules in computer science. Moreover, the student explores the basics of the four general disciplines of College of Science; physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
Third Year
In the third year, the student studies eight specialized courses in various tracks to develop analytical and engineering skills. That is in addition to statistical applications and probabilities. The student also studies two general courses.
Fourth year
In the fourth year, the student specializes in one of the three tracks: pure mathematics, applied mathematics, or statistics. In addition, the student enrolls in elective courses according to her preferences. After completing the courses, she starts her field training.
Fifth year
In the fifth year, the student studies specialized courses in her field, which will qualify her to apply for graduate programs or to work in a professional career. At the end of this year the students also does her graduation project.
